Well... Alright hear me out.
Valtiel is what i would consider "Heather's Pyramid head" at least in the sense that he is the thing tormenting her. A lot people like to brush off the whole "birthing God" thing as just a call back to 1 and yeah it is, but imo i think its deeper than that.
Just as James's monsters were reflections of his guilt and self hate, Heather's seem to be more so manifestations of her fears and insecurities most particularly with sex and growing older into a sexually active women one that is being pursued by men...
Valtiel is a servant to God and all that... But he's also a man who's stalking and manipulating her for the explicit purpose of her having a child...
He also serves as a terrifying metaphor of becoming the target of men's sexual desires and desire to use women for creating children and her fear revolves around the fact that she's essentially helpless to stop any of this from occuring.
As she gets older men will only target her more and more, and I then see the ending boss as a representation of the trauma of childbirth and motherhood.
It's literally a giant scary monster she has to defeat, something she has no choice but to face, and the entire conflict revolves not around her as a person but more so as an object to be used to obtain an objective, that being "to birth God"
Idk 3 is seriously underrated imo i think it's fantastic and has a lot to say.

Silent Hill 2 is what happens after Alessa's vengeful spirit leaves but the curse is still present on Silent Hill, acting like an individual force, not an individual being. Pyramid Head can be interpreted in many ways, but for me, Pyramid Head is not James inner demons, but James wanting to be PUNISHED for his sins. Pyramid Head acts like a JUST JUDGE who won't kill James but help him seek redemption, as the town keeps remembering what he's done and the type of person he really is.
Nurses = Lust, no faces are often a sexual thing as the main focus are their sensual bodies
Manniquins = James looking at lingeries shops most likely
Maria = The type of woman James wanted Mary to be
Pyramid Head = The judge who will help you and ground you by killing Maria multiple times, not letting James forget what he has done.
The messages on the wall: "IF YOU REALLY WANT TO SEE MARY, YOU SHOULD JUST DIE. BUT YOU MIGHT BE HEADING TO A DIFFERENT PLACE THAN MARY, JAMES"

Kinda right and kinda wrong.
The nurses not having faces were actually symbolic to how the doctors didn't care for him or Mary
But how they also had sexy bodies
The nandorines were based off the fact that Jason's subconscious was locking away the truth of why he felt guilty and how they were hanging above a cliff symbolizes how easily James could snap and fall to insanity.
Pyramid head represented his guilt and desire to be punished
The great knife represented his burden he felt from what he did
The lionfigures represented his wife and his lust. As well as the acid meaning A the lust to other girls as sexual squirting juices and or B the harsh words Mary said to James at the hospital.
The mannequins represented his desire for other women and how yes he saw lingerie shops but also strippers and models and prostitutes he saw around.
You were pretty much right in alot. Just you missed.the nandorines which is understandable as their only in the game for about 60 seconds and are few. And just a few information not there
Everything you put was right just missed some stuff

Pyramid head is a representation of James’ inner demons. 2 is an emotional journey for lost souls, while 3 has the god story line.
Game Seeker
2? 3? As in games 2 and 3?
Azure
@Game Seeker yes

The obsession with pyramid head being the poster boi of SH pisses me off so much as its completely missing the point of the character. It doesn't help that konami treats him that way themselves
