How to beat patchu battle pet? ›

While Critters tend to struggle in these types of fights, there are a couple of great pets that match up well against Patchu. Both Crispin and Void-Scarred Beetle are pets that can utilise non-critter attacks to defeat their foes and are generically good pets against a high number of enemies.

Qiraji Guardling. Qiraji Guardling is a good performing and cheap alternative to the Anubisath Idol with a very similar moveset. It can be found near The Scarab Wall and The Scarab Dais in the southwest area of Silithus ONLY in Summer (Starts spawning: June 21; Stops spawning: September 23).

Upgrading the Quality of Your Pets

General Battle-Stones can be used to upgrade any pet to the quality designated by that stone.

The easiest way to do this fight is with Lubbins at level 1 and all level 1 pets. You cannot clear your other slots unless you have an addon.

Battle Pet quests are account wide, can only be abandoned from the character that originally accepted the quest, and only if no progress has been made. Once a portion of the quest has been completed, the quest cannot be abandoned and must be completed and turned in to remove it from the quest log.

You can defeat Brok with only one pet using Emerald Proto-Whelp. Use the abilities: Breath, Emerald Presence, and Emerald Dream. Keep Emerald Presence up to completely negate Swarm used by Incinderous and significantly protect you from Triple Snap used by Ashtail.

Easy Strategy: Use 3 Level 1 pets with Aquatic abilities in the first ability slot (no Mechanical family pets). Notes: You can bring a second snail or critter as a backup, but you should be able to solo it with the single snail.

Start with the Val'kyr, Cast Curse of Doom and then Unholy Ascension, Swap to Stormwing and Call Lightning followed with a Flock, and the enemy pup will die once Curse of Doom lands. After that it's a simple matter of beating the two remaining birds with your Emeral Whelpling, you all know how that goes.
