Duties

As a Business Management Specialist, you will:

  • Serve as point of contact, Contracting Officer Representative (COR), and advisor to industry partners to promote a thorough understanding of TDC strategic sourcing initiatives and programs.
  • Develop key milestones to meet timelines and ensure all required activities are complete to support successful accomplishment.
  • Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements, forming project team, and establishing project budget.
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Assist the TDC in the planning, of and participates in Government-Industry conferences related to contract procurement.
  • Collect data and prepares Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) information papers and briefings.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting (All or XX of Total #) of the following:

  • Planning, managing, and coordinating assigned Procurement Programs for the Technology Development Center.
  • Establish milestones, priorities, and recommendations on specific functional areas for review and applies a wide range of management analysis techniques to address issues and problems.
  • Conducting reviews of acquisition business processes and procedures to identify areas of improvement.
  • Ensure that delivery and performance of contract provided services adheres to the contract terms and conditions.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 in the Federal service.   • Providing technical advice and guidance to other personnel and subordinate organizations.

  • Developing policy recommendations based on trends revealed by the metrics.
